Thank you for giving me the opportunity to choreograph for this special celebration, it really was an honour, and I hope I did it justice. The kids were amazing all day, so humble, hardworking and incredible stamina……that was a long day. So much work to organise and you guys thought of everything. Congratulations Gala team! Thank you so much for the opportunity to choreograph for the Gala, it was a huge honour, and I loved being part of such a special event to celebrate Cecchetti Ballet Associates. It’s an incredibly special scheme and seeing all of those students on the stage shows how brilliant it is. Everyone backstage was incredible and the atmosphere was electric with the student’s excitement to perform, and they were practicing nonstop to be ready! They all enjoyed every single minute. Wow. What an evening!
Thank you all so much for such a wonderful show last night. Bringing that many dancers together on stage – moving in the same direction and delivering such a wide range of fabulous performances is no small feat and you carried if off brilliantly. It was especially lovely to see all the Associates and Graduates together on stage at both the beginning and the end. Watching their development across the different ages was truly special and judging by the feedback I have had so far, they all had a fantastic day.
The dances were super and incredibly entertaining, A huge well done to all the talented choreographers and teachers for creating such an impressive showcase in such a short amount of time, and sincere thanks to the wonderful volunteers who gave up their time to look after the children, man the car park, and be fire Marshalls.

"Dear Claire and the Associates Committee, on behalf of Bhwdance we would like to thank you and the Committee for celebrating 30 years of the Cecchetti Ballet Associates. It was such an ambitious task, and we all appreciate the time it takes to produce such an event.
We were blown away with the choreography and variety displayed in all the dances. What talented pupils and teachers you have been blessed with.
We know the biggest challenge was only seeing your Associates 6 times and the adorable YA’s 3 times – if they were there! We don’t know how you did it, but YOU DID! The logistical nightmare for you all came together beautifully.
It was so exciting to watch and also enjoy the progress made from the YA’s up to the Senior Grad’s We were so proud of our pupils and know they all enjoyed the whole experience from all the lovely messages we received when congratulating them last night.
We take out hats off to you all for creating such a masterpiece. It was incredible to see all your Associates on stage – a ‘Wow’ moment for sure. We loved seeing so many familiar faces at the drinks reception and meeting new faces too. Thank you so much for our welcome drink that was much appreciated.

"I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the hard work that was put into the 30th Anniversary Gala last night. It was an absolute delight to be in the audience. The performances were gorgeous and the students looked to be having a super time! We enjoyed every second of it.
Performing means so much to Delphi, she really challenges herself to learn the choreography and dance to the best of her ability, being given the opportunity to show off what she can do on a big stage, is the icing on the cake. She is naturally quite shy, but you would not think, so when you see her dance, which always makes me quite emotional when I see her perform. But it is testament to your teaching and ethos to instill confidence and pride in your students.
Delphi loves being part of the Cecchetti Associates community and had such a great time yesterday. She reports of lots of happy memories made and a real sense of belonging. We wanted to pass on our thanks to everyone involved in the planning and running of the event, it was no small task, but I’m sure you’ll agree a very successful day. Here’s to the next 30 years!" We are very aware that this took two years of planning and therefore a great deal of time and effort would have gone into it.
